The University of Nottingham UK offers Masters scholarships for a global future for students from Africa, India and commonwealth countries to study for masters degree at the university.

Type: Full Scholarship

  • Faculty of Social Science

Duration of Scholarship: one year Master’s Programme

Value: 100% tuition fee

Eligibility Criteria

  • are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Africa, India or one of the countries of the Commonwealth listed below AND
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
  • have not already studied outside of your home country AND
  • are not currently studying at a University of Nottingham campus or are not a University of Nottingham graduate AND
  • already hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme, including MRes, at Nottingham for September 2017 in an area of study within the:
    • Faculty of Engineering,
    • Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences,
    • Faculty of Science,
    • Faculty of Social Science
  • Priority is given to candidates who have not previously studied outside of their home country. Students currently studying in the UK are not eligible to apply.

You’ll need to first apply for admission for Masters degree and be registered as a full-time student at the university

Selection Procedure

Offer can be accepted online through the online application system.

Applicants should reply to their offer as soon as possible as University is unable to hold offers open if a response have not been received within eight weeks.

The acceptance instructions for the course should be checked carefully, as different deadlines and requirements may apply. Access information on the University’s admissions policy here.

The Developing Solutions/Allan & Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Scholarship does not have a separate application form and students should apply using the Developing Solutions scholarship application form. You will automatically be entered for the Allan & Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Scholarship if you are eligible. [/box]
